Bob O’Leary

Hi, I’m Bob O’Leary.

The two best words I use to describe myself are “writer” and “father.” People who have met me probably have other words that they feel better describe me. Some may even be printable. But no one can argue that I am neither a writer or a father.

First off, I have been a professional writer for 14 years, seven as a sportswriter and another seven as a technical writer. Sportswriting is more fun, but technical writing pays a lot better. Technical writers generally do not work nights and weekends, either.

As to the father part, I have a son JJ, who is four and 1/2 at the time of this writing. He is around 2 or 3 in this picture. Like me, he loves computers, especially graphic programs. He is also like me in that he does not like his picture taken anymore, which is why I’m using an old picture.
